Mr Gallagher and our eco-councillors congratulate Fiona, a Primary Seven Pupil, who has won a prize in this year’s Schools' Environmental Poster Competition. Fiona has been invited to attend a prize-giving ceremony hosted by the chairman of Newry, Mourne and Down District Council to receive a framed copy of her poster and a voucher. Fiona’s poster highlights the dangers of plastic and litter pollution to our wildlife, our oceans and our environment and she encourages us to make good choices to keep our world Green and Clean.
