🙏 A big thank you to everyone for making this a really super World Book Day; to all who were involved in creating costumes, donating books and helping us to raise a wonderful £435 in the book sale. We hope everyone had a fantastic day and are enjoying reading their new books at home and we will look forward to spending the money raised on buying new books for our library🙂
We had lots of events on today to celebrate our love of books, from our Spot the Character Daily Mile, to our Where’s Wally? hunt, from our classroom activities and science experiments to our book sale. See what characters you can spot during our Daily Mile and enjoy the photos of the children perusing and selecting their books at the book sale. It is just fantastic to see how engaged and enthusiastic the children were🤩😍
Sadly this is Mr Gallagher’s last World Book Day with us in St Bronagh’s PS, but as you can see from the photos he has already started to diversify into a possible new career 😀📻📀 We wish him all the best with that!😀We also hope that he hasn’t hidden Wally too well, just in case we can’t find him next year!!😍🔍
