Over two days P5 pupils became building engineers as they faced the challenge to build the tallest tower possible from two sheets of flimsy A4 paper and 4 sticky labels! Not only did the tower have to stand freely, it had to support a 10g weight! You will see a big improvement in the structures by the second day as the engineers had a chance to evaluate and improve their towers. The tallest tower on the first day was 37cms tall and was built by Miley and Orlaith and on the second day the tallest tower reached the lofty heights of 60 cms! It was built by Shauney and Ryan.
Well done to all our engineers who also had the classroom tidied up in no time after the great build👍🏗
