Dear Parents and Guardians,
Information for children that received a letter to attend week 2 of the Summer Scheme (Monday 2nd August until Friday 6th August) is as follows.
During this week in school, the children will take part in a range of sporting activities, walks to Kilbroney Park, Arts and crafts and science experiments. The children will need appropriate sports clothing and runners each day.
Children are asked to bring:
a packet lunch,
Water bottle,
Sun cream and hat.
On Monday and Wednesday the children will take part in Outdoor Pursuit activities with Cloughmor Extreme. Activites include: Kayaking, archery, wall climbing and team games. On Monday and Wednesday the children require:
- Old runners for the water
- towel
- rain gear
- swimwear
- warm clothes
Please complete the attached consent form and return it on Monday 2nd in order to take part in the Outdoor Pursuit activities.
The Summer Scheme begins at 9 am and ends at 2pm each day. The children are asked to enter the school through the sports hall door (P5 entrance) and can be collected at the front gate.
