St Bronagh’s Says No to Single Use Plastic!!!
Pupils, staff and parents efforts to reduce plastic in our school has paid off. At a recent assembly, the Eco Comittee were delighted to share the results of our bottle and lunchtime survey. In 7 months we have almost halved the amount of single use plastic in our school. We have also halved the amount of cling film we are using for our lunch. In addition to this, we have reduced the amount of plastic bags and tin foil.
Thr Eco Committee congratulated pupils, staff and in particular parents in supporting their children through choosing and purchasing alternative bottles instead of single use plastic bottles and using lunchboxes in order to decrease the need for cling film and tin foil.
