On Tuesday October 25th, the boys and girls in Primary 2 met a very friendly witch in Kilbroney Park. Witch Liz took us to her favourite tree in the forest, where she read one of our favourite books ‘Room on the Broom.’
After reading the book, we collected some autumn treasures to make our very own wands and we did some singing and dancing under an oak tree. We then followed Witch Liz to a secret place deep in the forest, where she made a magic potion with lots of nasty ingredients including 4year old’s eye balls and toenail clippings powder. Finally, we each took a turn to cast a spell with our magnificent wands.
The boys and girls thoroughly enjoyed themselves and had a ‘spooktacular’ time!
