On Friday 5th April, Primary 6 welcomed Mr Kevin Mc Clorey from Sentinus, who came to give a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) workshop entitled,”Robotics and Coding.” Following instruction from Mr Mc Clorey, the pupils had to program a robot so that it moved along a pathway from a start line to the finish. At the beginning many robots went off road so it was back to the laptop to refine the instructions, then download the program to the robot and off to try again. Finally, after many trials and errors, success at last! A great morning of problem solving in action.
