Primary Three Celebrate Maths Week
This week Primary Three have been having lots of fun in Class taking part in Maths activities and learning some valuable lessons at the same time. Have a look and see how Primary Three Pupils throw a die and learn how to record all their own scores using tallies. Look at the super time Primary Three Pupils had collecting this information.
Primary Three pupils also watched a programme called big and small where the presenter raised all sorts of questions challenging our pupils to estimate how many cm cubes they thought could fit into the larger cubes. She showed us what a metre size cube would look like made out of balloons. Pupils carried out follow-up activities using a can of worms and a ruler. Pupils all enjoyed using their crocodile ruler to measure the various coloured worms and record their size in cm. Some pupils learned that 3 of our crocodile rulers fit inside one metre stick. What fun primary three had this week😀Have a look yourselves.
