Primary 6 School adventure with Geology Rocks!

22nd May 2024

Primary 6 had an amazing day filled with adventure with Geology Rocks!
The weather was in our favour with the sun splitting the trees. The day started with a paddle boarding session by the Rostrevor shore.  The waves were a bit choppy, but nothing our brave Primary 6 children couldn’t handle! Great team work was required throughout as they were paddling along the shore.
Following our paddle boarding session, a quick walk back to school for lunch and then they were all raring to go for the afternoon bushcraft activities.
All the children went for a hike up Kilbroney Forest Park to a location where the afternoon session of fun packed activities began!
So much fun was had learning survival skills, building forts, lighting fires safely and making and cooking breadsticks over the fire!
Such an amazing adventure filled with lovely memories for all our wonderful P6 children.
