The term we chose to support "The Larder," as our charity for the beginning of the school year. Over a period of two weeks, our school community brought in non-perishable foods and personal care items which were presented to Stuart Le Cornue, on behalf of The Larder Foodbank, Newry. The Larder is in Mary Street and is open Mon-Fri 11am to 3pm and from 5.50pm to 6.30pm each Saturday evening. It is run by a team of volunteers and they help over 1500 families every year with food parcels. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who generously supported our appeal with a wide range of donations, which will go a long way towards helping many families in these very difficult times.
