it was a beautiful crisp autumn day on Monday October 10th, when P5 set out to Kilbroney Park to see what treasures we could find. The benevolent trees rewarded us and we found lots of acorns, conkers, helicopters and beech nuts which we gathered up to keep. We even enjoyed playing a new game with the chestnut stems that I used to play at school!
On the way back to school we popped in to St Bronagh’s Church to enjoy their harvest display and Rev. McCarthy welcomed us and was delighted to show us around.
