As part of our Winter topic, the P1 boys and girls decided to make bird feeders for our lovely garden birds who struggle to find food during the cold season. We attached some string to a pine cone, covered the cones in lard and rolled them in bird seed. We then hung some of our feeders up around our school and took the rest home for our own gardens. We are so glad to see the little birds enjoying some small feasts. Thank you to P1 for helping the little birds, you are so kind.
