Primary 2 have had a great time celebrating Maths Week. We have been finding out about the number story of 9, using many different resources including Numicon and Monkey Maths. We used our big book, ‘Room on a Broom’ as the basis for our work in measures this week. We weighed the characters from the book to find out which ones were lighter and heavier. We ordered a set of broomsticks 🧹 from longest to shortest and measured the length of them using blocks. Finally we had a fun Maths afternoon when we played lots of fun Maths games. We have had a busy week!!
