Now that the academic year has ended and you are all enjoying a well earned rest, it is time to reflect on some of our achievements this year. One of our many successes this year was the introduction of the online maths resource, Mathletics, in January. We had been using Mathletics as part of our homework before home schooling began. However, the resource proved invaluable during our time away from school and participation throughout this time was excellent. From January, pupils have been participating in order to collect points to achieve certificates. I am delighted to say that during this time a staggering 908 bronze certificates, 116 silver certificates and 3 gold certificates were awarded! To receive a gold certificate is a huge achievement, as you need to collect 1000 points each week for 20 weeks in order to obtain a gold certificate. Therefore, I feel that our gold certificate winners need a special mention, they are Ethan Bell P2 and the brother and sister duo, Ethan and Andrea Mc Evoy, P3 and P5!
