During Seachtain na Gaeilge, an international event which runs between 1st-17th March annually around the world, the Lower Mourne Gaelic League organised a programme of events throughout the Mournes to celebrate the Irish Language. One of the events was an Art Competition for primary school pupils and we are delighted that six of our pupils were prize winners in that competition. The winners are pictured with Ruairi O Donnain, who came to school on Thursday March 16th to present the prizes. Well done to everyone who participated and we hope the winners enjoy their lovely prizes. Many thanks to Ruairi and the Lower Mourne Gaelic League for organising this event and we wish them well with future endeavours.
