On Monday 25th March, Ruairi O Donnain, Irish Language Development Officer for the Lower Mourne Gaelic League, visited our school to present prizes to the winners of the Irish Art Competition that he had been promoting. The theme of the competition was - Is fearr Gaeilge briste na Bearla cliste (broken Irish is better than clever English), and the standard of entries was excellent. Congratulations to the winners, we hope they enjoy their Easter Eggs!
