Many thanks to David Pilkington, from Sentinus, who facilitated the Digital Families Workshop on Tuesday March 12th. The families in attendance were introduced to programming and challenged to steer a robot vehicle along a road, avoiding some obstacles and manoeuvring around bends etc. Patience, perseverance and trial and error were key skills required for success and they were demonstrated in abundance during the activity. A fun evening was had by all and it certainly gave an insight into programming. Thanks to all the families who came along, despite the inclement weather.
