Creative Dance in P3🦋
Primary 3 pupils have been listening and responding to a variety of music to create movement and dance.
The song ‘Flight of the Bumblebee,’ by Rimsky Korsakov had us moving and dancing like bumble bees collecting pollen and using our stingers🐝.
The song ‘76 Trombones,’ performed by Andre Rieu’s orchestra had us marching like ants and following the leader like the queen ant 🐜.
Our final song ‘Somewhere over the Rainbow,’ reminded us of a butterfly fluttering through the sky. The children worked in groups to sequence 4 moves to represent the 4 stages of the butterfly life cycle: egg, caterpillar, cocoon and butterfly 🦋.
We hope you like watching our final performances, the butterfly dance 🤩.
