What fun we had celebrating World Book Day on March 5th. We even had a special delivery from our very own superhero, Batman!! Look how surprised the P3 children were when Batman handed them a poetry book to read!! P3 thoroghly enjoyed reading poems today and sharing their favourite poem with the whole class. We had poems about home time, birds, animals, dads, yawning and many more. Mrs Downey shared a poem called “Digging” by Seamus Heaney. She also read a quote from her favourite poem, “Daffodils.” I think P3s will agree that they had a great time finding Wally.
