A brilliant turnout for September Cash4clobber. Our eco-councillors were delighted with the huge pile of donated bags. The continuous rain didn’t dampen the enthusiastic spirit of our eco-councillors as they lifted, carried and piled the bags into the recycling van. When the van reached its capacity, the driver had to make a second journey to St. Bronagh’s P. S. For the remainder of the bags.
The eco-council would like to thank our pupils, parents, staff and local community for your continued support. Your donations of unwanted clothing are greatly appreciated. Thanks also to Mr. Gallagher for organising our three Cash4clobber collection dates each school year and informing our local community of these collection dates in our Parish Bulletin.
Isn’t it great to recycle unwanted clothing, saving it from ending up in our landfills and raising money for our eco-projects at the same time.
