Assembly Updates
Today, our talented P7 pupils took center stage to lead a thought-provoking and inspiring assembly. Their focus was on the plight of refugees—exploring the challenges they face while also highlighting the many benefits they bring to our wonderful country. Their presentation gave us plenty of food for thought, encouraging us all to reflect on how we, as young people, can make a positive difference in the lives of our fellow humans.
We also discussed our PATHS Thought for the Week, reflecting on the importance of celebrating the successes of others as much as our own, especially during sporting events. This message of mutual encouragement and support resonated with everyone in attendance.
As always, we celebrated the achievements of our Pupils of the Week, recognized our Gaeilgeoirí na Seachtaine, and gave a special shoutout to all those celebrating birthdays over the next two weeks.
To round off the assembly, we got in some extra hymn practice in preparation for our Catholic Schools Week Mass on Tuesday.
A huge well done to our P7 pupils for their thoughtful and engaging assembly, and thank you to everyone who took part. It was a fantastic way to end the week!
