World Book Day saw a great buzz in the Primary 2 classroom, as it was full of characters from all of our favourite books. These characters went in search of a fellow book character, Wally, who was hiding somewhere in our school building. Looking high and low, our eagle-eyed book characters found him hiding amongst the vegetables 🥗🥕🥦 on the ‘Eat them to defeat them’ noticeboard. Following this, it was back to class for more searching as everyone completed a World Book Day scavenger hunt. The day concluded with a visit to the wonderful P5 book sale. Here there were lots of wonderful books to be purchased. Everyone went left with a lovely new book to share with their family at home. Happy World Book Day everyone!
