The children in Primary 2 had a fun filled day celebrating ‘World Book Day 2025’. They arrived to school dressed as their favourite book character, proudly showing off their costumes and sharing who they were with their friends.
The day began with the traditional ‘World Book Day Daily Mile’, swiftly followed by the hunt for the elusive, ‘Wally?’
For the rest of the day the children were engaged in a range of exciting activities including a storybook character scavanger hunt, a live book read of ‘The Full Stop That Got Away’ and draw along session, a ‘Name That Story’ quiz and a very successful book exchange.
By the end of the day everyone was full of excitement and inspiration, eager to continue their reading adventure at home with their new story books.
